The thought of going to a new club or activity for the first time can be quite daunting when we’re putting ourselves in a position of unfamiliarity and vulnerability, especially when we might not feel entirely confident in our own saxophone abilities. The hardest part of trying something new is to turn up and give it a go!
We receive so many lovely emails from first-timers, offering genuine feedback after they have attended their first session. We think it’s important to share these experiences (anonymously of course). The following words are a selection of recent email comments from the past few months – you can hear their excitement and relief!

“I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and playing with the other band members. I had been quite apprehensive about it but that soon passed when we started to play the music. It sounds so good when all the sections come together – such fun. It was good to meet you and thanks for welcoming me into Sax Bandits.”

“Thanks for the free intro session. It was very enjoyable. The part was fine for me especially as I was playing alongside others who knew the pieces.
